With Sports Meet Coming to an end today, it was a great fun and exciting experience to watch all the players from various colleges competing with each other and performing beyond their limits to reach the victory and bring glory to their college. The event started on 12th October 2017 to 14th October 2017.
Out of many University School Students (USS) representing GGSIPU, we proudly present some of the victories which were brought by students from USCT representing in the events.
Starting with Power Lifting, Mukul Rana(2015) presented his immense strength and skill of handling weights and secured the first position. He is also selected for the coming National sports event.
In Men's Volleyball, we have Anupam Pathak(2015), Pankaj Kumar(2015), Komal Singh(2015), Prashant Jakhar(2015) and Rohan Akshat(2015) representing USCT in USS volleyball team with their skills and teamwork and secured Runner Up position (Silver).
In Badminton, Megha Rattan(biochemical 2016) and Manvi (biochemical 2016) represented from USS in the women's doubles Badminton with their skills and teamwork and secured the gold medal.
In Football, Ketki Anand(2015) and her team played matches with excellent tactics and good teamwork under her leadership that helped in securing the second position for the team.
In Women's 100m sprint race finals, Sonal(2017) represented for USS and with her sprint, she dashed to the finishing line and secured the gold medal.
We would also like to thank all the volunteers who worked hard during their duty in various events during sports. Due to their coordination, the events were made possible and all went smoothly. wishing all the players a great success in future and winners to keep up with the winning spirit.
