BIOCHEMICAL ENGINEERING

As suggested by the name biochemical engineering is somewhat a link between chemicals and biology or rather in biotechnology.Well, it is quite different. In biochemical engineering, you will learn about how to produce bioproducts on a large scale.

HOW BIOCHEMICAL DIFFERENT FROM BIOTECHNOLOGY:

This is different from biotechnology as in biotechnology, you study microbes and apply principles to extract useful biological substances from them.In Biochemical Engineering, the cell culture is scaled up and biological products are separated and purified ion a large scale.Biochemical engineering is expected to carry the above task and to bring huge economic benefits to the manufacturing company.
